Agit Kabayel is set for a big homecoming when he returns to Germany on January 10 for his first fight in front of his own fans in almost three years.

Since fighting in his homeland back in 2023, Kabayel has impressed on the road with a number of high-profile wins whilst boxing in Saudi Arabia on huge shows.

Back in February, Kabayel scored the biggest win of his career when he climbed off the canvas to stop Zhilei Zhang to land himself a high ranking in the division.

Kabayel has now put himself in the mix for a world title shot against Oleksandr Usyk, and he can strengthen his case for a fight with the magical Ukrainian when he returns at the start of next year.

Several names are linked to Kabayel including Nelson Hysa and Tony Yoka, but Kabayel is aiming even higher and has called out former champion, Daniel Dubois.

Attending Fabio Wardley’s win over Joseph Parker in London, Kabayel made it clear that he is willing to face Dubois as the Brit ponders his next move after July’s setback against Usyk.

“You know, I [have] a homecoming fight. All fans [in Germany] wait for this fight,” said Kabayel when speaking to The Ring.

"But the problem, we have no opponent, you know? We wait for the good opponent. I heard Daniel [Dubois] have also no opponent in the UK. Why not Kabayel versus Daniel? I heard he have no opponent.

“I’m ready for everyone. You know, I am sportsman. I hate trash talk. The people say this is a good fight for the fans or no, it’s not a good fight, Kabayel versus Daniel. I think so.”
