Kristian Prenga is promising to shock the world when he faces Anthony Joshua on July 25th.
The heavyweight pair will meet in a huge show in Saudi Arabia with the fight meant to be the final stop on Joshua’s path towards a major showdown with Tyson Fury.
Earlier this week it was revealed that Fury and Joshua have agreed to meet at the end of the year as they finally look set to end their decade long rivalry by putting it all on the line inside the ring.
Before that, Joshus must get past Prenga who will enter the bout with an ominous stoppage record albeit against lesser opposition compared to Joshua.
The Albanian is not expected to provide Joshua with a stern examination with the Fury fight looming on the horizon, but that has not stopped him from promising victory as he gets ready for the biggest fight if his life.
Joshua and Fury have been close to securing their fight in the past with numerous obstacles getting in their way, but Prenga is promising that he will be doing all he can to prevent two of boxing’s biggest names from finally meeting head on.
“Anthony Joshua is a great fighter, but he made a terrible miscalculation in picking me as his opponent. This is the kind of fight that changes everything in my life and his,” said Prenga when speaking to Matchroom.
"I know they have big plans ahead after this fight. I know they are overlooking me. I’m happy about that. I will derail their plans and shock the world this July in Saudi Arabia.”
