Fresh off the biggest win of his career, Conor Benn is plotting his next move as he looks to continue his path towards a world title fight in 2026.
Earlier this month, Benn scored revenge on Chris Eubank Jr after correcting the mistakes of his first fight with his great rival back in April.
Then, Benn performed admirably, but Eubank Jr’s stronger finish in the closing stages saw him take the win in a thrilling battle.
The second time around, Benn was more disciplined, and he dominated from the opening bell as he levelled the series with Eubank Jr meaning he can now push on and target world titles.
Benn is expected to return to welterweight, and he was ringside in Saudi Arabia to watch Devin Haney become world champion in a third weight class after he beat Brian Norman.
Several options exist for Benn at 147lbs including a British blockbuster with Belfast’s Lewis Crocker, but the Essex man is eager to test himself in America he has identified several names he would like to face in Las Vegas.
“Garcia or Barrios, Cinco De Mayo in Vegas. That is the dream,” said Benn when speaking to DAZN.
“If we can make that happen, that’s what I want next. If not, then we can go for Rolly [Romero], if not, we can keep it for [Devin] Haney.”
