Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul will meet on November 14 in one of boxing’s strangest ever bouts.

The popular pair are separated by around 65lbs, but their standing in boxing as two of the most recognisable fighters means there is appeal in their contest and they will do battle later in the year.

At 200lbs, Paul, has often been linked to showdowns with cruiserweight champions and there was speculation earlier this year that he was pursuing a heavyweight fight against former world champion, Anthony Joshua.

Against Davis, Paul will enjoy a huge size advantage in both weight and height, but he will be conceding plenty of experience to the Baltimore man.

Davis is a multi-weight world champion, and he has scored impressive wins over the likes of Frank Martin, Ryan Garcia, and Leo Santa Cruz.

The current lightweight star is looking to bounce back from a disappoint draw against Lamont Roach in the first half of 2025, and one previous world champion is backing him to get the job done emphatically.

Hasim Rahman shocked the world in 2001 when he became heavyweight ruler by knocking out Lennox Lewis.

Also from Baltimore, Rahman is a big admirer of ‘Tank,’ and he’s picking his city’s current boxing hero to capture victory when he faces Paul.

“I think Tank gonna knock him out,” said Rahman when speaking to B4 Champ.

“So I’m just telling you, don’t be surprised if Jake lands flat out.”
