Jake Paul is preparing for a huge showdown with Anthony Joshua, and the American fighter is not leaving any stone unturned aa he has begun sparring for the imminent bout.

On December 19, Paul will face the biggest challenge of his career so far as he moves up to heavyweight to face the former two-time world champion in Florida.

Paul has been intended to face Gervonta Davis, but after the fight was postponed, Paul jumped straight into the deep end to test himself against Joshua.

The British fighter has been inactive since Septemner 2024 and on the night Joshua was dropped four times as he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois when trying to reclaim the heavyweight crown.

Joshua has been linked to several fights since that setback, but it came as a huge shock when it was announced recently that he will face Paul.

There are big hopes within the Joshua camp that he will face Tyson Fury in 2026, but that can only happen if he gets past Paul in an impressive manner.

To help him get ready for his fight with Joshua, Paul has gone all out in getting the best preparation as he has recruited several high-profile sparring partners.

Jared Anderson will be helping Paul and last year he was seen as one of America's brightest hopes before losing to Martin Bakole.

Lawrence Okolie, a former cruiserweight world champion who was once managed by Joshua is also in Paul’s camp and he is joined by leading contender, Frank Sanchez.

All three will be putting Paul through his paces as he gets ready for the most dangerous assignment of his life.
