Daniel Dubois has a huge opportunity to take heavyweight boxing into the next generation when he faces Oleksandr Usyk on July 19 at Wembley Stadium.
In an era dominated largely by Usyk and Tyson Fury, younger fighters have been making their claim around the world and Dubois, the IBF champion, certainly has the credentials to push forward.
As well as Dubois, Moses Itauma is another heavyweight causing chaos and many believe that he will be the man to step up when Usyk, Fury, and Anthony Joshua all move on.
Another heavyweight who is making professes is Agit Kabayel, and John Fury, the father of Tyson, is really impressed with what he has seen from the unbeaten German.
In recent years, Kabayel has displayed why he is a fighter to be feared after scoring impressive wins over the likes of Frank Sanchez and Zhilei Zhang.
Kabayel is closing in on a world title shot, and Fury Sr, believes he could be the man to eventually top the division.
“The man to look out for is Agit Kabayel, he’s the danger man. I like what he does, him. Cool, calm, collected, takes a shot, gets off the floor and wins,” said Fury when speaking to Seconds Out.
“For my money, out of these new heavyweights, Agit Kabayel is the one to watch. All these guys like Joe Parker, all the guys like them, they’re the older school now, they’ve had their chance. Their time has been and gone.
“Agit Kabayel does it for me and I think at the end of the day he can rock it with the best of them.”
