Agit Kabayel’s next fight now appears to be set, with Talksport reporting that the unbeaten German heavyweight will face fellow undefeated contender Nelson Hysa in the first defence of his WBC crown. 

Kabayel has enjoyed a remarkable rise over the last few years, establishing himself as one of the heavyweight division’s most dangerous operators through victories over the likes of Arslanbek Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez and Zhilei Zhang.  

His relentless body attack and aggressive style have earned him widespread praise, while his elevation to full WBC heavyweight champion has only increased interest in his next move.  

Hysa, meanwhile, arrives with an unbeaten record of his own and has been calling for an opportunity at the highest level.  

The Albanian puncher enhanced his growing reputation with a stoppage victory over Thomas Narmo in August before confronting Kabayel and making his intentions clear. 

According to Talksport, the two sides have now agreed terms for a showdown in Germany with November 28th the likely date for the title showdown. 

While Kabayel will enter as the clear favourite, the fight offers an intriguing meeting between two unbeaten heavyweights with impressive knockout ratios.  

For Kabayel, it is an opportunity to continue his march towards the biggest names in the division, whilst Hysa has the chance to pull off a career-defining upset and announce himself on the world stage.
