Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley are ready to run it back this weekend, and Derek Chisora has delivered a ruthless prediction for one of the biggest all-British heavyweight fights on the calendar.

The pair meet again with plenty at stake after producing a dramatic first encounter that gave both men major moments. Wardley made the quicker start, stunning Dubois early and proving that his power and aggression could trouble the more experienced operator.

Dubois, however, eventually found his rhythm and turned the fight in his favour. Once he was able to settle behind his jab and force Wardley backwards, the cleaner work began to tell, with Dubois producing the more measured and damaging shots as the contest progressed.

Wardley’s toughness ensured he stayed in the fight longer than many expected, but Dubois’ accuracy and spiteful combinations ultimately proved decisive. That result has left Wardley with a point to prove, while Dubois will be eager to show that the first win was no one-off.

Chisora knows the heavyweight scene better than most. A former world title challenger and long-time fixture of the British division, he has shared the ring with many of the sport’s biggest names and has never been shy when offering an opinion.

Speaking ahead of the rematch, Chisora made it clear that he expects Dubois to get the job done again, and he does not believe Wardley will last long once the champion begins to impose himself.

“I think that this is Wardley’s last fight,” said Chisora when speaking to Talksport

“I don’t think that he wants to box anymore. This is his cash out. After three rounds, Daniel’s going to win it by knockout.”
